I first ordered a pair of these speakers about two weeks ago. I was surprised by the $20 some shipping, but I suppose it is acceptable considering how heavy the speakers are. They arrived exactly on schedule, however upon installation it was discovered that they were completely non-functional. I was pretty upset and out $80 at this point. I decided to google the brand, which doesn't seem to exist. I found no way to collect on the supposed "warranty" as there is no contact information on the 1 page "installation manual", which doesn't really explain much.
In my utter disgust, I contact Amazon and things were settled. It was agreed that I could get a refund and optionally another pair free of shipping charges. I decided to try them again, and upon arrival I found that the shipping tape hadn't even been sealed on the box, the speaker's box (within the shipping box) had been opened already as well as the plastic wrapping inside it (they taped it closed). I removed the speakers only to find that the control panel had been smashed in and was jingling loosely around the inside of the speaker cabinet.
They appear solid in build, and if they are what they are claiming to be, they are probably quite nice. I could not (and will not) find a pair that works, however, so I can't testify to the audio quality. The casing is apparently hard-wood and seems sturdy enough, which is a good thing considering how much of a beating they must have taken to have the control panel smashed in. I am quite disgusted that this product is even on the market here, and this is the first time I have ever been disappointed in my long history of shopping through Amazon.

The first pair was missing pieces and was not even fully put together. There were dings and dents in the enclosures. Very dissapointed that someone would let that ship out with a clear conscience.
Decided to take a chance on a second pair after returning the first. They appear to have arrived as new. They look pretty nice, easy to set up and in no time listening to the ipod through these.
I don't profess to be one with cultured musical tastes. I listen to, play and record rock, blues and country music. I'm setting up a small recording area in our family room that me and my children can enjoy, and wanted to keep the costs down. These being sixty bucks seemed to be the right buy for that application.
These speakers sound decent. Pretty fair bass for a small driver, loud enough for what I need and clear enough to use for monitors. Again, simple music with simple effects.
I'm going to put them through the paces in the near future and we'll see if they hold up. Four stars for now.
